Werneburg, Vera LaVonne Eisher
Vera LaVonne Eisher Werneburg, 78, of Blanchard, Okla., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died May 14, 2010, in the Norman, Okla., hospital. Services were held May 16 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church, Newcastle, Okla., with burial at Blanchard.
Survivors include her sons. Michael (Jody) Eisher of Smyrna, Tenn., and Raymond (Sheila) Werneburg of Blanchard; daughters, Carla (Jeff) Harder of Manchester, Bonnie Vroman of Oklahoma City, and Susan (Jim) Phillips of Tuttle, Okla.; two brothers, Harold Nelson and Bob Nelson; sisters, Betty Olson, Pauline Girsch and Audrey Clinton; 13 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Vera was born Sept. 10, 1931, in Delaware County, Iowa, to Oscar Nelson and Dottie Wooner Nelson.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or Woodlands Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle, Okla.
