Wenger, Eugene
Eugene Wenger, 81, of Elgin, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Center, West Union, following a long illness. Memorial services, will military rites, will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Illyria Community Church, rural Elgin. The Rev. Rick Johnson will officiate. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Elgin and one hour before services Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established honoring Gene Wenger (c/o Anna Wenger, 1189 Filmore Rd., Elgin, IA 52141).
