Wendy Lynn Sumner, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away on March 27, 2025, at her home. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Wendy was born October 10, 1963, in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Dick and Pat (Meueler) Sumner. She graduated from Washington High School. Wendy was united in marriage to Joey Sumner on March 16, 2012, in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a self-employed personal assistant.
Survivors include her husband, Joey Sumner; dogs, Max, Baby and Squirt; parents, Dick and Pat Meueler; and brother, Dane (Sylvia) Meueler.
Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
