Wells, Macel M.
Macel M. Wells, 91, died at St. Luke's Hospital on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, by the Rev. Mark Thomas of Central Assembly of God. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Survivors include children, Bobby Wells of Central City, Donna Wells of Mountain Home, Ark., and Roger (Lisa) Wells of Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Grover, Jerry and Gary Wells; and daughter, Carol Palmer.
Macel was born June 25, 1918, in New Town, Mo., to Audrey and Delma Jaques. She married Robert Wells on Feb. 8, 1937, in Trenton, Mo. He died in 2005. She liked to go to garage sales, go out to eat, read the newspaper, and grocery shop. She will be remembered as a good provider.
