Wellman, Mildred Mae (Dahlstrom)
Mildred Mae (Dahlstrom) Wellman, 93, of Elkader, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the Elkader Care Center.
Mildred is survived by her son, Richard (Alice) Wellman of Plainfield, Iowa; daughter, Delores (Paul) Fowler of Cuba City, Wis.; four grandchildren, Rick (Kerri) Wellman of Waverly, Aaron Fowler and fiancee, Julie Elmore of Atlanta, Ga., Gregg Fowler of Los Angeles, Calif., Suzanne (Michael) Lemos of Phoenix, Ariz.; three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Dustin and Kaleb Wellman of Waverly; two sisters, Helen Wagner of Waukon and Jean (Wally) Bjorkman of Sparta, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at the First Congregational Church in Elkader with Rev. Jerry Chase officiating.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader and one hour before services at the church on Friday.
Interment: East Side Cemetery, Elkader.
In lieu of flowers, a Mildred Wellman Memorial Fund has been established.
