Webster, Julia Janet
Julia Janet Webster, 78, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died March 11, 2012. Family services will take place.
Julia was born Aug. 16, 1933, to Paul and Julia Jerabek in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, one of twin girls (JoAnne Melsha). She graduated from McKinnely High School in 1951 and attended and graduated from UNI in 1953.
She was a member of Sokol organization and other Czech organizations. Julia moved to Arizona in 1979 and was well-known for her pie making in Montana and Arizona.
Surviving are her children, JoAnn of Mesa, Ariz., Mark of Big Fork, Mont., and Bill of Florence, Ariz.; sister, JoAnne Melsha of Cedar Rapids; daughter-in-law, Sandi Webster; grandchildren, Wendy, Mindy, Billy and Julie; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Connor, Ryleigh and Robert Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William F. Webster; a daughter, Pamela K. Webster; and her parents.
A beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was loved by all who knew her.
Memorial donations may be sent to hospice.
