Weber, Kraig C. 'K.C.'
Kraig C. “K.C.” Weber, 38, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, as the result of an auto accident. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Inurnment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Because of K.C.'s generosity and the Iowa Donor Network his death has given life to many different people.
Survivors include his mother, Kathy Weber of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters, Andrea (C.J.) Greer of Charlotte, N.C. and Teri (Steve) Schmidt of Cedar Rapids.
He is also survived by his grandmother, Phyllis Weber of Cedar Rapids; two nieces, Amanda and Rylie; and three nephews Bradley, Patrick and Gavin.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
K.C. was born on June 24, 1974, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Ronald and Kathy (Hollingsworth). Weber. K.C. graduated from Jefferson High School and later from Mount Mercy College. He worked at Quaker Oats for several years.
K.C. was an avid golfer and was a member of several local leagues. He enjoyed all sports and was a fan of the North Carolina Tarheels. K.C. enjoyed life and will be greatly missed by his beloved family and many many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in K.C's name.
