Weber, Alice Mae
Alice Mae Weber, 72, of Dyersville, passed away of pancreatic cancer peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2013, in her home surrounded by her family in Dyersville. In honor of Alice's wishes, there will not be a visitation. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers at this time. Our hearts go out to you as well. Funeral services for Alice will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica with the Rev. Noah Diehm presiding. Burial will be held in the Holy Cross Parish Cemetery in Holy Cross, Iowa. The family will be available to visit with following the committal services at the Dyersville Park Pavilion for those who wish to attend.
Alice was born Aug. 2, 1940, in Holy Cross, Iowa, daughter of Leonard and Marcella Roling. Alice married Robert Weber on Aug. 29, 1961, in Holy Cross, Iowa.
Alice is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Weber of Dyersville; three children, Nancy Jo (Greg) Henn of Cedar Rapids, Kevin (Amy) Weber of Darlington, WIs. and Kelly (Marvin) Wulfekuhle of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Amy, Nicole and Ashley Jo Henn, Madison and Hunter Weber, Josh (fiancee Jessica Ellis), Rachel (fiance Chris Roney) and Nicholas Wulfekuhle.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Marcella Roling; Robert's parents, Leander and Rita Weber; and her sister-in-law, Karen Weber.
Alice and her family are truly blessed to have such good friends and family, many thanks to out to all for their incredible love and support.
An Alice M. Weber memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
