Wayne LeHew, 93, went to be with the Lord at Hiawatha Care Center on Feb. 27, 2022. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church.
He was born on Dec. 26, 1928, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Ray and Carrie (Harris) LeHew. He married the love of his life, Ione June (Mayer) LeHew on Nov. 26, 1950, in Coggon, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Ione LeHew of Hiawatha, Iowa; sister, Myrtle Stoneking of Carlinville, Ill.; and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; three sisters.
