Wayne Lee Clark, 62, of Oelwein, formerly of Quasqueton, died Thursday evening, April 7, 2016, at his home in Oelwein.
Wayne was born July 31, 1953, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Raymond M. and Dorothy S. (Wade) Clark. He attended John Loecke School in Independence and River Hills School in Waterloo. Following his education, Wayne moved to Oelwein and became employed with Goodwill Industries.
He enjoyed bowling, NASCAR racing and participating in the Special Olympics. He was the Iowa State flag bearer during the International Special Olympics in Minneapolis.
Wayne is survived by three brothers, Robert (Donna) Clark and Arthur (Shirley) Clark of Quasqueton and John (Patti) Clark of Oelwein; a sister, Denise (Tom) Burke of Independence; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, with the Rev. Kevin Jennings officiating. Burial will be in the Quasqueton Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
