Wava L. Vandolah, 85, of Marion, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, in her home with family by her side. A Celebration of Life will be held privately.
Surviving is her husband of 67 years, Vernon Vandolah; her daughter, Debra (Pick) Pequgnot of Springfield, Ohio; and her sons, Rick (Kate) Vandolah of Marion and Robert (Debbie) Vandolah of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and her sister, Judy (John) Tomkins of Muscatine, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Wava was born Nov. 28, 1936, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of John and Lora (Smidt) Yordt. She married Vernon Vandolah on July 24, 1954, in Muscatine. Wava was a longtime Marion resident, where she was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. She was a loving wife and a dear friend to all who knew her. She will be truly missed by all.
