Wasik, Francine E.
Francine E. Wasik, 81, of Boone, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Francine E. Wasik was born on June 18, 1930, to Emory and Marjorie Tylee Bixby. She was united in marriage to Ralph Wasik on Aug. 28, 1982, in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed cooking for family and neighbors, watching sports of all types and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Janet) Craven of Boone; grandchildren, Todd Craven, Erin Craven and Sarah Blough; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Carter and Hannah Boyd; and stepsons, Ralph (Denise) Wasik and Ron (Jan) Wasik
Francine was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a brother, Bill Tylee.
