The Rev. Warren Webb, 81, of Apple Valley, Minn., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Nov. 14, 2016.
Born in Malden, Mass., he earned his undergraduate degree at Boston University,
a divinity degree at Garrett Theological Seminary and a master's degree at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill. He served churches in Illinois, Michigan, Iowa and Minnesota as a Christian education minister and co-authored two books in his field.
His many passions included the Chicago Cubs, Big Ten sports (especially Northwestern), golf, gardening, games, travel and grandchildren!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Myrtle; and sister, Dorothy.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, LuFern; children, Steve (Susan) and Kathy (Randy) Junker; and grandchildren, Kyle, Natalie, Trenton, Paul, Brenna, David and Shaylin.
A celebration of Warren's life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Dr., Burnsville, Minn., with a family visit time at 12:30 p.m.
Memorials are preferred to Cure Alzheimer's Fund, Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation or Feed My Starving Children.
