Vinton
Warren K. Gulick, 93, of Vinton, died Saturday, April 30, 2017, at Windsor Manor in Vinton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, at Vinton Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Jessica Crane-Munoz officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton.
Memorials may be directed to Vinton Presbyterian Church.

Warren was born Feb. 28, 1924, in Plainfield to Jess and Grace (Smith) Gulick. He graduated from high school and was united in marriage to Bernice Verstraete on Jan. 31, 1951, in Gilbertville. Bernice preceded him in death on Nov. 16, 2005.
Warren was a farmer in the Vinton and Garrison area and a member of Vinton Presbyterian Church. He was honored to serve on the Virginia Gay Hospital board of directors for 25 years.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Warren was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Stuart and Margaret (Gordon) Gulick.
