Wanda "Kay" Rudolph, 67, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at her home following a sudden illness. A celebration of her life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services,
Cedar Rapids. Family and friends may call from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. Monday, with the memorial service immediately following.
She is survived by her fiance, Mike Tusing; two daughters, Kathy (Bob) Holets and Dawn (Tim) Steffen, both of Marion; a son, Tim (Desi) Rudolph of Cedar Rapids; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Kay was born Oct. 10, 1947, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Harold and Jean Hughes.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Hughes.
She graduated with an associate degree in human services and worked as a caregiver most of her life.
She loved playing computer games, her cats and especially her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to bring an ornament to hang on an evergreen remembrance.
A memorial fund has been established.
