Wanda Wanita Johnson, 96, of Riverside, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Brown officiating. Calling hours will begin noon Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be at Elm Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Palliative Care Unit at the University of Iowa.

Survivors include her daughter, Sondra Kiene of Riverside; daughter, Ellen Schellin of Iowa City; daughter, Linda Plecker and husband George of Ainsworth; son, Roger Johnson and wife Dalene "Dee" of West Liberty; son, Mark Johnson and wife Melissa of West Liberty; son, David Johnson and wife Diana of Brighton; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
