Walton, Darlene Agnes (Kucera)
Darlene Agnes (Kucera) Walton, 80, of Waterloo, passed on Friday, April 13, 2012, at Allen Memorial Hospital of COPD, emphysema and leukemia. No services are planned. Arrangements are with Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories in Waterloo.
Darlene was born on Nov. 10, 1931, to Frank Vencil and Esther Adean (Klenk) Kucera in Toledo. She attended Tama County schools. Darlene was united into marriage with Dennis Walton in Waterloo in October 1980. She was employed as a maintenance supervisor of an apartment complex for the majority of her working career. Darlene was a doll maker and enjoyed baking, fishing, sewing, and gardening.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Kucera.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis, a son, Charles (Betty) Kutin; two daughters, Phyllis and Joyce (Rick) Kutin; grandchildren, Lanora (Yossi), Tim, Mellisa (Jeremy) and David (Melanie); two sisters, Marie Hess and Barbara (Lyle) Long.
