Walter, Robert A. 'Bob'
Robert A. “Bob” Walter, 76, of Williamsburg, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Mercy Iowa City. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Williamsburg, with the Rev. Richard A. Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. today at the church. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be contributed to Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Cindy Faas of Des Moines; his son, Terry and wife Sara of Palo; four grandchildren, Afton Ridenour (Nathan) of North English, Whit Faas of North English, Jordan Walter of Cedar Rapids and SPC Codi Walter of Cedar Rapids; and twin great-grandchildren, Connor and Bridgette Ridenour.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Alma Wille Walter; and his wife, Darlene Wiebold Walter in 2009.
