Walter E. Portwood, 87, died suddenly Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at his rural Oxford home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at the Oxford United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Oxford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church in Oxford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Walt's memory to the First Responders or to the Oxford United Methodist Church.
