Walter J. Kaiser, 70, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Illini Hospital, Silvis, Ill. Cremation has been accorded. There are no services.
Walter was born Feb. 12, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Walter and Jean Reeb Kaiser. He was a retired truck driver, last working for Robins Wine and Spirits, Columbus, Ohio. He enjoyed bowling and coaching youth baseball. Walter was a veteran.
Survivors include his son, Jamie Kaiser, Columbus, Ohio; and brothers, Fritz, Ron and Terry Kaiser, all of Columbus, and Gene Allen Kaiser of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
