Walter, Hope Kolsto
Hope Kolsto Walter, formerly of Atkins, died July 5, 2012, in Sun City, Ariz. Services and burial were held at Sunland Mortuary in Peoria, Ariz.
Hope was born June 9, 1918, to Ike and Ethel McClintock Rosdail. She married Kenneth Kolsto and they farmed on the family farm near Atkins. Hope was very talented starting with her elaborate wedding cakes and in 1973 opening Hope's Bridal Boutique, the well known “pink barn” on Highway 30, west of Cedar Rapids.
Upon retirement, she and Ken moved to Sun City, Ariz. They enjoyed golf and traveling.
In later years, she married Charles Walter, they resided in Sun City.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Kolsto and Charles Walter; a brother, Erick Rosdail; a sister, Joyce Rosdail; and a nephew, Neil Rosdail.
Survivors include one brother, Merle (Bud) Rosdail; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
