Wally Henderson, 88, of Central City, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at his home. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Dennis Johnson. Burial will follow at Mount Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Wally is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters, Deb and Pam; grandsons, Shane and Shawn; and great-grandson, A.J.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Henderson.
Wally was born March 29, 1929, in Central City, Iowa, the son of Lloyd and Winnie (Burnside) Henderson. He was a farmer in the Central City area until retiring 26 years ago.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to UnityPoint Hospice.
