Wallace “Wally” Chappell, 83, passed away early in the morning on April 14, 2025 at his home in Iowa City with his wife by his side.
A Celebration of Wally’s life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10 AM to 1PM at the Stanley Café in Hancher Auditorium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hancher Auditorium, Iowa City, to Riverside Theatre, Iowa City, or to any art organization of your choosing.
