Wallace W. Albaugh, 85, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Marion, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, January 6, 2026. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 13, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service, 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Wally was born and grew up in Mechanicsville, Iowa. He spent his entire career at Rockwell Collins, retiring after 40 years in 1995. In 2014, Wally received a lifesaving kidney transplant. He could fix anything, loved his cars, attending sporting events, traveling (especially to Walt Disney World), and above all, his family.
Wally is survived by his wife of 48 years, Trudy; children, Christine (Paul) Boline, Jim (Carol) Albaugh and Amanda (Dan) Schneider; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Ian, Bryce, Sarah, and Darin; and great-grandchildren, Riggins and S.J. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Albaugh; brothers, Ronald and Keith; and first wife, Brenda.
