Wallace Norman Smith, 86, of Anamosa, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Pinicon Place in Anamosa. Per Wallace's wishes, he will be cremated. A private inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Wallace was born Dec. 17, 1930, in Des Moines, the son of Floyd and Wilma Smith. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean conflict.
Wallace is survived by nieces and nephews.
