Wallace, Jeffery Clayton

Jeffery Clayton Wallace, 59, of Cedar Rapids, died Oct. 25, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. Private family memorial services will take place. He will be laid to rest next to his mother, Juanita Wallace. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include a son, Jason; a brother, Robert; a nephew, Steven Wallace; and nieces, Emily, Nancy and Natalie Wallace.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. William Wallace and Juanita Wallace.

Jeffery was born in Glendale, Calif., and graduated from Washington High in Cedar Rapids. He loved camping, fishing and being with his friends. Jeff worked in construction and in the cable industry. Later in life he met Mona, his companion of almost 15 years until her passing in 2009. His precious dog Cinnamon died this past July.

Jeff will be missed by his family and friends. He was a good man who had a big heart.

The family would like to thank Mercy Medical Center and Mercy Hospice for their quality care of my brother Jeff.
