Wall, Charles 'Chuck' L.
Charles “Chuck” L. Wall, 73, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011. A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he was the son of the late Louie and Cora (Jepsen) Wall.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gayle (Beasley) Wall, and brother, Ray Wall.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Brother Owen Ivery and Brother Charles McKnight will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, with full military honors. The military will serve as pallbearers. The deacons from the church will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel (615-893-5151).
Mr. Wall is survived by his daughter, Julie Johnson; special friend, Jean Beasley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn (Dora) Wall and Albion (Maxine) Wall; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vaneta (Louie) Kester and Viola (John) Kerr; sister-in-law, Georgia Wall; grandchildren, Trey, Mark Reid and Lynda Mai Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wall was a member of Hillview Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. He served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War and retired from the United States Air Force. He later retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center as a nurses tech.
