Walker, Charles E.
Charles E. Walker, 72, of Cedar Rapids, died at home Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Services: 4 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by the Rev. Mark Thomas. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday until time of service. Interment: 11 a.m. Monday at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Lavada; children, Deborah Sigo, Charles Wilbert (Dawn) Walker and Charles Edward (Tammy) Walker Jr.; and 10 grandchildren.
Charles was born Aug. 24, 1940, in San Bernardino, Calif. He was employed by San Bernardino County as an equipment operator.
