Walker, Betty June
Betty June Walker, 83, of Tipton, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton.
Born June 1, 1929, in Tipton, Betty was the daughter of George H. and Florence Wiech Townsend. Betty graduated from Tipton High School and, on Feb. 14, 1955, was united in marriage to Joseph Hershel Walker. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Irene Plough of Conneaut, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Betty donated her body to the University of Iowa for anatomical research.
