Waiva Baack, 98, passed away peacefully May 14, 2023, at The Views of Marion. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of graveside service, 11 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Waiva was born on Oct. 7, 1924, in Charles City, Iowa to Benjamin and Doris Beck. She was united in marriage to August “Gus” Ray Baack on Aug. 15, 1943, in Nashua, Iowa.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Marilyn) Baack; grandsons, David (Janice) Baack and Paul Baack; great-grandson, Ryan Baack. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus; sisters, Ruth Copper, Maxine Rademacher, Mary Lou Button, and brother, Keith Beck.
