Waddell, Robert 'Bob' Wayne Fowler
Robert “Bob” Wayne Fowler Waddell, 71, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by three children, Robert Waddell (Cate McLearnon), Lisa Noethe and Tammy Osten; longtime friend and business partner, Suzanne Claypool; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, all of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Alan Waddell; and son-in-law, Scott Noethe.
Robert Wayne Fowler Waddell was born June 26, 1941, in Iowa City, Iowa. Bob owned and operated many restaurants including Jethro's BBQ House in Woodville, Texas; Paul Reveres in Newhall; and Van Horne Cafe. His passion was his motorcycle and he enjoyed long rides with his family and friends to Mount Home and Eureka Springs, Ark. for Bluegrass festivals.
