Wacha, Edwin J.
Edwin J. Wacha, 87, of Toledo, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama, with Father Michael Mescher and Father David Kucera as celebrants. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, rural Toledo. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama, with a vigil service at 6 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Wacha; five children, Duane (Carol) Wacha of Newton, Dennis (Jackie) Wacha of Montour, Diane (Marty) Kucera of Kansas City, Mo., Donna (Craig) Fish of Toledo and Dallas (Shelly) Wacha of Sugar Land, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Irene (Milo) Dvorak of Traer, Marcella Dvorak of Toledo and Hilda Kucera of Traer.
