Vore, Bernice
Bernice Vore, 95, of Tama, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama. visitation will be held one hour before services Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo.
Bernice was born on July 17, 1914, in rural Tama County, the daughter of Frank and Lucy (Cherveny) Spinler.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John in 1984; a sister, Gladys Kasal; a brother, Lawerence Spinler; and a grandson, Douglas Vavroch.
Survivors include her children, Della (Don) Vavroch of Belle Plaine, Darlene (Willmer) Cooper of DeWitt, Darrell (Marilyn) Vore of Johnston, Deloris (Dick) Hasbrock of Redmond, Wash., and Darla (Al) Luzum of Bella Vista, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
