VIVIAN YVONNE SILVER

Vivian Yvonne Silver, 81, of Central City, passed away at her home on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at American Legion Wapsie
Post No. 421 in Central City.
Vivian was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Coggon, Iowa, the daughter of Stewart and Dorothy (Moyer) Silver. She was a 1955 graduate of Central City High School. Vivian was employed at Hy-Vee in the bakery and at AMPI hauling milk. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Central City and Jordans Grove Baptist Church in Central City. She enjoyed going to the school dressed up as Mrs. Claus or the Tooth Fairy. She loved sewing, her pets and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Brad (Jeannie Dunham) Price, Rona Price and Darren Price; grandsons, Dustin, Derick and Dalton; and great-grandchildren, Daiton, RaeLynn and Daceyn.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ron Silver.
The family expresses special thank-you to Richard Morriery and Lisa McClure and Hospice Home care staff members Bobby Joe and Robin.
