Vivian Rae Northrup, 76, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021. A graveside committal will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Vivian was born on Dec. 29, 1944, to Clarence and Lucille Bruce. Vivian was a longtime member of Cedar Hills
Community Church in Cedar Rapids.
She enjoyed painting and traveling, taking trips as often as she could. She also loved children and babies.
Vivian is survived by her son, Corey (Kathy) Northrup; sister, Ellen Kuriger; friend, Berta; and a large extended family.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Northrup; son, Clarence Northrup; and brothers, Fredrick Bruce and James Bruce.
