Virginia Squier of Vinton passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at the Vinton Lutheran Home. According
to Virginia's wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation. Graveside services will be at a later date.
Virginia was born June 29, 1924, to Frank and Inez Cottrell near Brandon, Iowa. On June 27, 1951, she was united in marriage to Floyd Squier. He preceded her in death June 10, 2010.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dortha Halva.
Virginia is survived by a sister, Rosemary (Les) Kampman of Vinton; a niece, Jacki (Jerry) Michael of Urbana; a nephew, Steve (Janis) Kampman of Rockwell, Texas; five great-nieces and great-nephews; and three great-great-nephews.
