Virginia A. Grimm, 77,
of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center. Services at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial at Palo Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and at the church after 9 a.m. Monday.
Survivors include two daughters, Nettie Burgess and Hazel (Fred) Rhomberg; and one brother, Clark Bradley. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Leslie (Pete) Bradley.
Virginia was born Nov. 29, 1939, in Palo, the daughter of Marvin and Hester Muschaweck Bradley. She married Russell Grimm on May 17, 1958 in Iowa City. They were later divorced.
Virginia worked for A.R.A. Mark for many years. She was a devoted and longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Virginia was a wonderful mother and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
