Virginia Gembler, formerly of 1472 Parkwood Dr. SE, Cedar Rapids, died in San Diego, Calif., on Saturday, July 26, 2014, following a sudden illness. There will be no visitation or service. Clairemont Mortuary, San Diego, was in charge of the cremation.
Surviving are her son, Jeffrey Gembler; her daughter, Sandra Scherling and son-in-law John; and two grandsons, Alex and Adam Scherling.
