Virgil Martin, 94, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Jones Regional Medical Center, Anamosa, following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 2, at the United Methodist Church in Anamosa with military honors by the U.S. Army and Anamosa Veterans. The Rev. Marty Schuhmacher will officiate at the service. Visitation will be from 3 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center.
