Vince Thomas of Mount Vernon passed away on March 3, 2022. Vince was born the son of James G. Thomas and Jane Niles Thomas on March 4, 1968.
Vince is survived by his parents, Jane Conrad and Jim (Kerry) Thomas. Vince also leaves behind his siblings, Nick Thomas, Tonya (John) Kurtz, Dan (Megan) Thomas and Aaron Thomas. Additionally, Vince
will be missed by his nephews, Danny, Owen, Grant and Quinn Thomas; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Vince was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Vince was a 1987 graduate of Anamosa High School and worked many jobs in hospitality and customer service. Loyal customers and friends will recall his time at P & P in Mount Vernon. Vince could be a very caring and generous person, always wanting to help and save others. Unfortunately, Vince was unable to help himself break free of his addiction to alcohol and nicotine.
There will be a private graveside service at a later date. To honor Vince, please give a friend or loved one a hug and tell them you love them.
