Viktora-Jensen, Anastasia
Anastasia Viktora-Jensen, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Sept. 9, 2012, at her home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Surviving are her children, David E. Viktora and wife Mary Jane of Omaha, Neb., and Paul Viktora and wife Shari and Larry Viktora and wife Barb, both of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Dean, Dodi, Chad, Victor, AJ, Kyle, Laura, Dan, Stefani, Logan and Delaney; 13 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Gertie, Charles, Clem and Raymond; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; one great-granddaughter; her siblings, Margie, Bernadette and Andy; and her ex-husband, David W.
Anastasia was born June 17, 1936, in Fort Atkinson, Iowa, the daughter of Clement and Anna (Kipp) Steffes. She was united in marriage to David W. Viktora in 1953, and they were later divorced. She worked as the manager cook at Ole's Ham and Egger in Marion for over 35 years. Through her work there, she met many people and enjoyed visiting with them over the years. She married Donald Jensen Sr. on Oct. 17, 1996; he preceded her in death in 2006.
She enjoyed cooking and will be remembered as always making sure all were well fed at family get-togethers. She also enjoyed playing bingo as well as outings to the casino with family. Her greatest delight in life was her family. She dearly loved all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
