On Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, Viken Joshua Clayton
Wellman passed away in Cedar Rapids at the age of 27. Viken will be forever remembered by his parents, Viken E. and Tracy Wellman; and girlfriend, Laura Immonen. His grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends will also forever remember him until we see him again in Heaven.
Scouting was a big part of his early life, reaching the level of Eagle Scout in 2008. Viken was a fun-loving soul who always took care of those around him. He gave his life trying to help another.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Squaw Creek Red Cedar Lodge, 1700 Big Bluestem Dr., Marion, IA 52302.
