Celebration of Life: Victor “Vic” August Barnholdt – Please come celebrate the life of Vic Barnholdt, on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Swisher American Legion Post 671, 68 Third St. SE, in Swisher. Victor “Vic” August Barnholdt passed away at his home in Swisher, Iowa, on Feb. 25, 2023. No matter how, or where, or when you knew him, please join us in celebrating the life of this man with the beautiful blue eyes. Preceding the celebration, a family graveside service with military funeral honors by Fairfax American Legion Pekomy Post 572 will be held at 1 p.m. at Anderson Cemetery, Swisher, Iowa. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
