Vicky Ann Clemons, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial Services: 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar
Rapids, by the Rev. Jerry Fagerland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Private family burial will be at Martin Creek Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include her son, Edwin "James" (Phyllis) Wilson; her daughters, Elizabeth (Wes) Wilson, Angel Garcia and Brandy (Bobby) Lowery; brother, Bernard (Tracy) Kent; sisters, Barbara Kent-Macias and Bonnie Clemons; 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Vicky was born Jan. 26, 1949, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin and Bueta (Harris) Kent.
She was a member of the Eagles Club and The Salvation Army Elderly Group and she volunteered for several other organ-izations.
Vicky will be remembered for her huge heart and love for everyone. Her family was her world and she would do anything to help others. Vicky often opened her home to single mothers, providing them with shelter and meals.
She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Kent and Bueta Bentley; two brothers and an infant grandchild.
