Vicki Lee Reeve, 64, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, in her home surrounded by her loving family. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec.
1, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A private service will be held.
Survivors include husband, Mike Reeve; her daughter, Lesley (Cory) Schieltz of Marion, Iowa; her son, Michael (Jennifer) Reeve Jr. of Marion, Iowa; her grandchildren, Chloe and Ellie Schieltz and Graham, Hayes and Lola Leigh Reeve; her brothers, Steve (Joan) Dolezal of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Terry (Joyce) Dolezal of Toddville, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Dolezal of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Kim (Dave) Duncan of Joplin, Mo. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sylvia Dolezal; her brother, John Dolezal; and her father and mother-in-law, C.A. "Buck" and Mary Reeve.
Vicki was born Dec. 1, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of John and Sylvia (Egan) Dolezal. She married Mike D. Reeve on Aug. 11, 1979, in Cedar Rapids. Vicki graduated from Jefferson High School, attended Kirkwood Community Collage and had a successful career as a surgical dental assistant. Vicki had a way of lighting up every room she walked into with her infectious smile and contagious laugh. She enjoyed taking care of her home, working in the yard, traveling but, most importantly, she loved to be with her family. Vicki made a lasting impression on many of our hearts and lives that will live on forever.
