Vernon Ricklefs was born September 3, 1937, in Monticello, Iowa, and died February 7, 2025, in Center Junction, Iowa.
He served in the Army but worked all of his career as a semi driver. He had melanoma cancer for 34 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy, married 65 years, his sons, Kent (Sharon) and Kerry (Karen), 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren: sister, Elaine Halsch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Luella Gardner.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 11:00 am-3:00pm at the Calkins Barn in Wyoming, Iowa, with a military service at Noon.
