Vernon E. Quint, 83, of Ryan, died Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ryan. Friends may continue to call after 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, at the church prior to the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Dennis Quint will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, south of Ryan.
Surviving are his children, Karen of Cedar Rapids, Don (Lisa) of Manchester, Dick (Jane) of Ryan and Father Dennis of Dyersville; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Quint of Manchester; a sister, Catherine McQuillen of Marion; and in-laws, Marie Broghammer of Manchester, Don Mulvehill of Pleasant Hill and Eileen Brunow of Cedar Rapids.
