Vernon Eric Brown, 62, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on May 5, 2022, in his home of natural causes. Celebration of Life services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St., SW. In accordance with Vernon's wishes, he has been laid to rest in Muslim National Cemetery. A full obituary will be in Monday's Gazette.
