Verna Faas Johnson Kramer, formerly of Luzerne, passed away Oct. 7, 2016, at Belle Plaine Nursing and Care Center, two days after her 93rd birthday.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Grace Lutheran Church, Blairstown, with Pastor David Rempfer officiating. Burial will take place at St. Paul's Cemetery, Luzerne. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service in Belle Plaine.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to Central Lutheran School in Newhall or Valparaiso University in Indiana.

Verna is survived by her sons, Russell (Bonnie) Johnson of Pleasantville and Glen (Kathy) Johnson of Whitehall, Wis.; daughter, Linda (Glen) McElroy of Koszta; stepchildren, Jim (Mako) Bockholt of Palo Alto, Calif., and Annie (Raymond) Brecht of Blairstown; stepdaughter-in-law, Chris (Dennis) DeVore of Belle Plaine; and many more relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by both her husbands; parents; sister, Eileen; son, Kenneth Johnson; stepchildren, Donn Kramer and Patricia Kramer Mensing; and sister-in-law, Edna Faas.
