Verda Arlene Troyer, 90, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona.
Verda is survived by a sister, Alta Troyer of Kalona; a sister-in-law, Vivian Troyer of Wellman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Nettie Fehlberg, Della Yoder, Ida Kliewer and Wilma Becker; and four brothers, Ivan, Warren, Lloyd and Wilbur Troyer.
Celebration of Life service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Wellman Mennonite Church in Wellman. Pastor Nathan Ramer will officiate. Burial will be in Wellman Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona.
A memorial fund has been established for Wellman Mennonite Church and Pleasantview Home.
